Porn or Politics for the Spygirl?
From spy to politician. If Vladimir Putin can do it, so can the Spygirl! Anna Chapman a.k.a. Anya Kushchenko, the Russian Spygirl, will not confirm the hot rumors she will be running for a seat in the Russian parliament, Duma. But she rarely confirms rumors swirling around her. In her latest interview, she divulged to the media that she’ll have a website up soon, but admitted she can’t divulge anything related to her activities in the States as part of her conditional release to return to Russia.
A passing curiosity in the US and UK, she has become a popular celebrity in Russia. Crowds gather around her if they spot her in public, causing the Spygirl to go out in disguises. There is a radio station sponsored song contest for the best song written about the Spygirl. Russian tabloids are trying to locate anyone who knew her before she moved to London and then New York City, in order to obtain interviews.
It doesn’t seem that a leap into the world of politics would be a bad move for Anya, who also holds a Master’s Degree in Economics, has worked in the banking and real estate industries, and of course, in espionage. Maybe that would make her overqualified to become a politician? And given her current popularity, it shouldn’t be difficult for the sexy Spygirl to secure enough votes to gain entree into the Russian parliament. What else can a retired sexy spy do anyway? Especially with legal limitations on selling her Spygirl story or writing a Spygirl book.
While Vivid Entertainment and Playboy dangled big money offers to do a porn video for Vivid and a nude photo spread for Playboy, it seems that for the time being, Anya has nixed porn for politics.
